AMTI Technology Featured in Triple Crown “Power 5 Fastpitch Tournament” in Colorado
AMTI was recently invited to participate in the inaugural “Power 5 Fastpitch Tournament,” which took place on June 27-29 at the Triple Crown Sports headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Triple Crown Sports specializes in organizing and hosting youth and collegiate sports tournaments across the United States. The “Power 5 Fastpitch Tournament” served as a showcase of elite athletic talent and a celebration of the cutting-edge equipment and technology developed by AMTI that is installed at the CSE (College Sports Evaluation) Fastpitch Performance Lab.
During the event, attendees and participants had a chance to observe first-hand how the P5 teams utilize the equipment and technology in the lab, network with NCAA DI/PF college coaches and other vendors in our industry, and engage with athletes and coaches, gaining valuable insights and feedback from their experiences.
Several cutting-edge AMTI products were featured in the event, including five AMTI force plates, with three (one BMS900900 and two BMS6001200) embedded within the instrumented setup for softball (fastpitch) pitching and two BMS900900 force plates embedded within the softball batter’s boxes. As with all AMTI force plate solutions, the multi-axis force plates embedded within the instrumented pitching setup allowed users (coaches, sports scientists, researchers amongst the Triple Crown Sports and CSE Teams) to measure and record the 3D forces and moments generated under each foot throughout an entire pitch.
AMTI’s equipment was installed alongside a number of AMTI’s partner companies, including Qualisys and Theia Markerless motion capture systems. Additional equipment installed alongside our plates included Trackman Ball Flight Sensors and Edgertronic High-Speed Cameras.

Triple Crown is a huge player in college sports and athletic tournaments for youth that is about to celebrate its 42nd anniversary and AMTI is eager to participate in future events held by this worthy organization.
