THE TRACK at New Balance

AMTI was very excited to see this project come to fruition officially last week. Our team has been hard at work over the past year or so to finalize the force plate equipment in the multi-purpose motion capture space as part of the sports research lab at THE TRACK at New Balance in Boston, MA.

Twelve total AMTI force plates were installed around the lab, including 6 plates embedded within the running track, 1 in the basketball court, 2 in the tennis court, and 3 in the turf (baseball & soccer) areas. The lab space also features setups from our partners at Qualisys, Theia, Treadmetrix and many more state-of-the-art biomechanics technology systems.

Can’t wait to see what’s to come from this incredible facility.
